Most of his work touches on familiar and not so familiar subjects.Old folkloric ideas and stories, the inner struggles humans go through, media manipulation, consuming technologies and the basic perception of what we believe spirituality is as individuals .Although his work is sometimes mind stirring many of the stories and concepts are ones that resonate right in the home of most every person. You are just left to dig a little deeper to see find stories in his work.
“Everything in existence has a life cycle.Once it reaches its end it either returns to the earth or is recycled into another object or tool.I have always been fascinated by taking once forgotten objects or images and merging them with a new creative vision.Ultimately breathing a new life force into something that would have otherwise been left to disappear.Symbolism and iconic imagery has also been a strong inspiration to me as an artist. Many of the messages and stories told in the past are still very relevant to our own time and are something that I feel compelled to add to my own works. Utilizing stories and guild lines of the past to narrate in a more contemporary realm. “
